the bump vs What To Expect?

I have my EDD plugged in the same on both -- but the daily emails I get from WTE are saying I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and here it's still counting me as 12w3d. Does WTE just count the days part as an extra week? I got all excited to read that baby was a peach via WTE-- but my bump ticker still has 'em as a plum! Anyone else notice this?

I get those too, and it always throws me off! I figured it was what you said--those extra days added to the week technically puts you in the next week. Maybe someone else can explain more eloquently

I think The Bump moves you to the next week up when you hit 4 days.  Also, technically you are in your 13th week when you are 12w3d (and all through that week of 12s).  Look at it this way - you have to live through 1 year to be considered one year old.  Same with pregnancy.  You have to live through 13 weeks of pregnancy to be considered 13 weeks pregnant.

I got an email from WTE early on that explained that they would send me the info for the week I was heading into. So they send you the info a week in advance, I guess so you know WTE. :-) Hope that helps.

I haven't had this experience but I know that where my doctor says I'm at in my pregnancy via date of lmp is the same as my ticker on here so I'll keep going by that
