cloth diapering??

I'm considering cloth diapering and 1) don't know much about it and 2) can't seem to find a diaper service in my area online. I know its possible to to wash on your own, but my step mother offered to pay for a service as a gift....

We live south of boston (in Hull, about 1/2 south of quincy). Anyone know of anywhere to call for diaper services near me?? Any good advice or convincing arguments to go cloth vs disposable???

  Thanks!

I plan on checking out a cloth diapering workshop at The Diaper Lab in Somerville.  See web site for info below. The great think about this shop is the experiment to own program where you can test out the various types of cloth diapers and see what works for you.  Good luck!

Another rec for The Diaper Lab, they do free workshops and teach you everything you want to know about cloth dipaering!  I think they said there is only 1 diaper service in MA, so I am not sure that is a feasible option anymore... they are so easy to wash.

    Hi MR. :)

Agreed -- the Diaper Lab is a fantastic local resource!  I also think that the newborn rental from Nell's Natural Baby is a great way to get started and save yourself a lot of $$ in the first three months.  https://www.nellsnaturalbaby.com/Newborn-Cloth-Diaper-Rental_p_15.html

We did that with my first, and then did the two-week trial from the Diaper Lab to see what we'd want for the next stage.
