I seem to have misplaced my instruction booklet, but how do you get the bassinet bottom to be rigid/stiff so it can be used outside of the stroller? It is perfect when put in the stroller frame, but collapses when sitting on the floor.
You have to take the cover off the bassinet - the pad and all of the fabric. Then, underneath that there are two metal "hinges" or brackets - they're big and right in the middle, you won't miss 'em. You have to force the brackets outwards into small holders - they pop in and hold the bassinet's shape. This is from memory, but I know that the brackets are under the fabric and they pop into holders - you'll get it.
