If I am going to donate a large sum of money (yes over a 100 dollars is a large sum for us right now) you can't bet it would be a donation I *knew* was going to my favorite charity.

My great grandmother, grandmother and great aunt have all had breast cancer, so I do think that it is an awesome cause. I would want confirmation that the money indeed went to charity though.

I'd rather donate directly and get my own tax write off.  I'm kind of boring like that.
