Lets say your LP is 11 days (thats what my last one was) So a FRER claims to give results 6 days before your missed period. Which would be 5dpo. I'm guessing they can claim this based on the 28 day cycle, O'ing on CD14. So 6 days before your missed period would be 8dpo. Which isn't ridiculously early, but way more plausible than 5dpo
Am I just waaaaaaay over thinking this?
Re: Probably a really stupid FRER question
I think their claim is so misleading. It is, in fact, based on a 14 day LP...but most women don't interpret it that way, which leads to them testing early (and getting BFNs), and then buying more tests (more $$ for First Response).
Andplusalso, 6 days before your missed period would be 9dpo (since your period isn't missed until 15dpo when you have a 14 day LP)
