grrrr whats this toy called

ok so when my kids were in daycare there class had these big brick looking blocks that were made out of soft foam and the outside was that type of plastic they use on those baby books that are safe for babies to chew on (if that makes any sence) the individual bricks are bout 1ft in length and around 5 or 6 in high...you can buy them in either all red or multi color....if you know what im talking about please let me know what they are called...i have been searching everywhere and cant seem to find them...
