Graco Simplicity Crib recalled in 2007... is it too late to get money back or replacement?

My MIL gave us a crib that she used for DH's nephew five years ago. We were actually setting it up tonight and planning on using it even though I was not happy that it had a frowned upon drop-side.

However, one of the pieces (the upper tracking) was missing from the box of parts, so I decided to look online and see about ordering the needed piece...

that's when I discovered our crib in question was recalled in 2007.

Does anyone know the limitations on how long you have to get reimbursed or get a replacement crib?

Thanks... and feel free to flame me for being willing to use a drop-side crib. I am just thankful that I now know for sure that the crib isn't safe... if it had all the parts we would have used it and I might have never even looked into it further.

I would think they would still give a replacement or send things to fix it. Just call them, the worst that will happen is they will say no.
