So, I've FINALLY started to shed the weight from DD#1 that I never could lose. I'm not back into pre-pregnancy sizes yet, but I'm getting there. All of my tops and pants are falling off of me. I'm still losing, but I need some things to get me through the next few months. I figure the new size and new wardrobe will come in the spring. So, I'm thinking less expensive is the way to go. Dillard's has some stuff on sale right now, and their VIP christmas party is next week and I can get an extra 10% off that night. we also have NY&co and they have everything 50% off this week.
I like the look of the sweaters and leggings and haven't been able to pull it off because I would never have been comfortable wearing that. What are some other things I could get to wear that won't look so frumpy and big as I continue to lose, yet still be in style?
I'm 5'5 and have a smaller waist and my hips/behind tend to be my "problem areas". I am happy to say I rocked the knee length dress and tall boots for Thanksgiving. Until now the zipper had always been my enemy.
Oh, and the UGGs bug finally hit me and I bought a pair this week. I bought these, but can't really decide what to wear with them. These were my 2nd choice, so I can exchange. They may be a bit more versatile.
WDYT? anyone?, and thanks if you made it this far and for your help.
Re: anyone care to help me update my closet?
I'm not sure what you're asking, actually. Maybe because I'm so brain dead, but the Uggs are fine.
I have a pair of the regular ones and I don't wear them other than when it's just effing cold, so it's not a style thing for me.
I see girls wearing them with leggings and skirts and I guess it's okay, but I just do my jeans because I'll be outside.
Other than that, I'm not sure what advice you're looking for.
Me with my littlest.
I personally like the second Uggs better. They seem more versatile for me. I'm getting a pair of Uggs for Christmas and just plan on wearing them with jeans. I can wear them under my bootleg jeans and am going to get a pair of skinny jeans that I can tuck into them.
