It seems to me everyone is finding out the gender of their baby, even my friends around here (and they're not technically allowed to tell here).
We will not be finding out early, we are waiting until the big day.
Who else here is not finding out? Who are my team green buddies?
Re: team green?
We are team green. Frankly, I'm just so stinking excited to be pregnant that I hardly even think about if it's a boy or a girl. I'm just thrilled to pieces to even have a baby in there. I'm sure I'll get anxious to find out closer to the end.
My BFP Chart
Remember that you want that sheer beautiful moment where the hysteria is overtaking everything, and all of a sudden someone shouts "It's a...". You want everyone to be on pins and needles on facebook the day that you go on labor, everyone that will be watchful to be the first to know...
And if anything, you don't want 1) the disastrous and obligatory and ugly gender specific clothes that will abound in blue or pink that will come in your shower with sayings like "Princess" or "Does this diaper make my butt look big" (barf), followed by the progression of "So what are you naming it"...
Team Green, Hells Yeah! (sing to Team America World Police's song...)
All of this exactly. The crazy gendered clothes are one of the biggest reasons we are Team Green!
Our precious girl, born at 27 weeks.
I've never wanted to find out the gender and our ultrasound is tomorrow so as long as we stay strong tomorrow we'll be in the clear. I'm a NICU nurse and attend a lot of deliveries. There is definitely a different vibe in the room when people don't know the gender.
Someone gave me a great idea the other day for buying clothes. Make two shopping bags online right before you deliver and then order them right after the baby is born, the clothes will be delivered by the time you're home from the hospital.
I am a L&D nurse and it is this thought that reminds me why I am team green!
