I would love to try and make my own fitteds, but I don't know which pattern is best. Anyone have any luck with any particular pattern (I am hoping that the pattern is free, or pretty inexpensive!) and fall in love with them? Would you mind sharing your resources?
Thank you so much! (I just bought some fabric at JoAnn's today from the remnants and they were 50% off the price! Couldn't pass up the cute prints!
Re: Pattern for fitteds?
I have been waiting to buy the fabric I want until we are a little better financially, but I have found a few free CD patterns of various types that I want to try out...
AIO: https://www.celticclothswholesale.com/fabric_11/Free-Patterns.htm
Fitted: https://goodnessgraciousdiaper.wordpress.com/2008/01/30/11/
One size pocket: https://www.4shared.com/file/92564227/2613587c/Final_RRP.html I have actually made this one using just flannel and stuffing with Gerber pre-folds. It was really inexpensive and have got us through about 9 months of CDing. They are starting to fall apart now, but considering it only cost me about $40 to make 3 dozen, it isn't bad. We just use the gerber diaper covers as well for a cheap cover. Of course if you find a nice one size fits all diaper cover that you like that would probably cheaper in the long run.
