I know we need to have 3 hours sleep without waking, but does it matter when the 3 hours occur? Example... I sleep well from 12-3 but after that I wake up a few times. Would this be considered sleep deprived?

you should always try to temp at the same time daily.. for example once or twice a week i wake up at 430 for work, since thats the earliest i get up i set my alarm and temp every day at 430, whether i work or not.. i just go back to sleep after.
this way your temp results are consistent.. hope that helps

I temp every morning at the sametime. I usually treat is as a good night as long as I have 3 straight hours of sleep at some point in the night. I just was not sure if this was the correct way to do it.

I usualy get 3 consecutive hours at some point but never at the same time. I am a light sleeper. Maybe I should temp at 3am or something?
