HPT Question..

So I keep seeing people say they got a BFP on a FRER and then followed up with a digital..  Are digitals more sensitive/accurate than the regular HPTs??  I had a BFP on a FRER yesterday morning, but was wondering if I should confirm it with a digital or go with it??  TIA!!!

I think the digi's are pretty sensitive, I don't know about MORE sensitive though. I think I would just follow up because I want to see the word "pregnant" on the screen! Congratulations!!!! H&H 9 months!

I would confirm with a digital just to see it actually read  "pregnant" although I didn't do that last year.  Those are my plans this time around.

I think a lot of people like to see the word "pregnant" come up on the digital which is why they take them. I think when I get a BFP I'll be doing the same just to see it! COngratulations on your BFP!

Digitals are often less sensitive than other tests, including FRERs.  I waited 2 days before taking a digital after getting a BFP on an IC.  GL!

I used FRER first and waited two days to use the digital. The FRER test was very faint that is why i waited for the digital. I didn't want to risk the digital not picking up the pregnancy hormone.  Seeing the word "pregnant" really made me a believer!  My husband too.  I went to the doc after that and got a blood test done to triple confirm - that was positive too!  The first test I took was 10 dpo and it was very, very faint.

Well I didn't chart so I don't know how many DPO I am or anything..  I took one on mon night and one on tues morning and they were both negative so thats why I waited til yesterday to take another..  it was faint but you could still see it...  just not quite as dark as the other line...  I was hoping to be able to get ahold of the docs office today but of course they are closed for the rest of the weekend..  so guess that will have to wait til monday...
