internal tears?

Did anybody have any tearing aside from perineal tears? I had a second-degree perineal tear, but also a 3 cm-long vaginal tear from the forceps. I am really worried about it affecting our sex life! I've done a lot of Googling and it doesn't seem to be all that common. It hasn't caused me much pain (the perineal tear was way worse, but healed much faster) but I'm worried about the scarring. Hoping not to have a broken vag for life!

I had a small internal tear with my first. I actually found that more painful than my 2nd degree perineal tear even though it was much smaller. The good news is that it did eventually heal completely and has had no impact on me since it finally healed. With my next 2 babies I only had tiny perineal tears and no further internal tearing.

I had an internal tear with DS and a 2nd degree episiotomy.  The tear did bug me for a while.  The episiotomy never bugged me.  After about 6months PP, it felt totally normal.  It only hurt the first few times we had sex after the 6 week mark.  After that, it kind of bugged me and I could tell it was there, but didn't affect things that much, just annoying.  I only had a 2nd degree tear with DD, nothing internal.
