Pregnant after IF

I screwed up - talk me down...

For my estrogen supplement, I am wearing one patch and take 3 pills/day.

I just realized I have no more pills.  I only took 1 today.  No pharmacies are open tonight.  I won't be able to get any until tomorrow morning - though my REs office is closed - I will have to talk to the nurse on call.

So, is my baby going to be ok??

I could always put on another patch.

ETA: I talked to the nurse on call.  I asked about adding another patch.  She said no, that I should be fine until tomorrow morning.  She said missing progesterone is a bigger deal.

Re: I screwed up - talk me down...

  • I see that you already talked to a nurse, but I had something similar happen to me. I realized that I had the wrong dose estrogen patch (like half of what it should be) for most of my cycle. The pharmacy screwed up. The nurse told me they basically overload you with estrogen and that it wasn't a huge deal.

  • Totally agree that missing progesterone is a bigger deal.  If estrogen was a big deal I would telll you to go break into my house and use the pills I have left over!

But, I think you'll be just fine!

p.s. I was on the same meds as you and I think I missed mine a couple times due to refill errors on my part. Thankfully everything is still ok!
