Trying to Get Pregnant

opk question

Hi everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!

I have a question that maybe you can all help me with. I am sure this have been asked before but here goes..

I started to take my ovulation sticks back on cd10. I got a positive on cd 15, cd16, cd 17 and now again today on cd 18. My strongest positive was on cd 16 where the line was darker than the control line. Today I took it ( I always take it the same time each day) and it looks to be about the same or maybe just a tiny bit lighter than the control line. Why am I having so many days of positives? I know that it could be my body trying to o but back at cd15 and cd16 is when I had a lot o pains. I guess I am just really confused and will continue to bd until I either get a negative or run out of tests. What do you all think? Do you think I should count cd16 as being the day of my peak lh surge and then start counting the next day as 1dpo or just keep thinking that I haven't o'd yet?

Thank you!

Re: opk question

  • the positive test is when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line.  There may be times where you have many +OPKs, but as I said before it's only when the test line is as dark as the test line.  If you have mulitipule +OPK's its just your body gearing up to O.  Keep testing till the line fades.
