ppd and medication?

I am wondering if any of you had medication for depression and if you took it while breastfeeding.  I was just prescribed prozac today for mild depression and now I am nervous to take it while nursing.  My Dr. said it wasn't a huge deal but she didn't fully reassure me that it was ok either.  Then the paperwork that comes with the medicine said it will pass to the baby.  I asked the pharmacist and all he could say is that it is prescribed often and that it would transfer some through the milk.  I don't want to take it if there is a chance it will effect my DS.

I am taking Zoloft.  I was worried about that too, but I consulted with my OB, the girls Neonatologists and RN's before I started.  We also titrated the dose so that we could closely monitor the girls for side effects.  My Neo said I shouldn't worry at all.  So far they have no had any effects.
