REALLY UPS?????! REALLY?????

I have 2 packages comming.  Both should have been delivered today, & I have been looking forward to them!

I just checked online, to make sure that they would be here today, and instead of out for delivery, I see:

11/24/2010 3:33 P.M. TENDERED TO LOCAL POST OFFICE

SERIOUSLY????!

    I might have called and screamed at Target over this exact issue.  

    They refunded my shipping for the misdirection on how it was being shipped. 

    And then it came 2 hrs later via my wonderful mail carrier.

    Sorry.  Maybe try calling your PO?

    My PO closed at 4pm, and my mail was delivered at noon.

    Now I have to wait until Friday, and I wanted my stuff NOW.

    I was looking forward to reading tonight, while soaking in the tub.  Now I don't have a book to relax with.

    Bah Humbug.

    No Cassie, *that* is FedEx.  FedEx actually used the excuse recently, that my apt was inaccessable for package delivery.

    Please tell me how this house looks like an apt complex:

    Come on over!  I like company.  Perhaps the more people here, the more UPS & FedEx will be convinced to actually show up with my pkgs.

    I'm sure it doesn't make you feel any better, but the PO hates it, too.  My mail carrier happens to be the mom of one of the kids I watch.  She said they get tons of calls complaining that packages were supposed to be delivered that day according to UPS or FedEx but were delivered to the PO instead.  It's deceptive, but it's how they reduce shipping rates.

    I feel you... my fedex package (containing some maternity jeans I was planning on wearing to Thanksgiving) was just deferred to the usps too... Sad
