Strollers are my latest obsession. I look at them everywhere I go, I've researched lots online and in Baby Bargains. I'm getting the BOB Rev as my primary, what are you all hoping to use as a secondary/lightweight stroller? I think my SIL is giving me her snap n go base so I will have that when he's still in the infant car seat, but I was thinking of registering for a lightweight when he is a little bigger. What are you all doing?
Re: How many strollers are you registering for?
What we did: We got the snap and go, and then only had an umbrella stroller after that. So glad we didn't get the bigger bulkier stroller!
What I kind of wish we had done: Registered for a stroller that could be converted to a double stroller. Now that # 2 is on the way, something like the Phil and Teds, or the Baby Jogger City Select would have been much more practical.

Haha! I would love to see that! Might slow your time down a little. lol
None, lol.
I WAS registered for the Graco snap n go and the BJ City Mini. But turns out my cousin has the Graco that she's willing to give us, so that came off the registry. And we want the 2011 City Mini for the upgrades from the 2010 model, but it's not available on BRU yet, so I'm waiting it out.
I only put one on the registry, a Baby Jogger Summit XC, it's $400 so I know we won't get it. I keep changing my mind whether or not I want a luxury stroller or not. I already have a MacLaren Snap and Go that I got off Craigslist. I also have a MacLaren double which is an umbrella stroller from a lady I know for $20!!! (Originally well over $200) for the baby + the kid I nanny. I needed an easy to use double and one that had a reclining option for the infant if needed. I didn't need a luxury double because we plan to have #2 when #1 is 3ish so they don't need much more than an umbrella.
I know eventually I'll get the single MacLaren umbrella stroller. They just fold so nice but work so much better than regular umbrella strollers. I'm also tall and the $30 ones just don't fit me.

For DS we had a snap n go, Bumbleride Indie and then a Chico Umbrella. Believe it or not we used all of them. They all served a different purpose. The snap-n-go is perfect for the first 6 mos. The Bumbleride is great for walks/runs and even shopping. The unbrella is great for quick trips, traveling (your stroller will get beat up and dirty when you travel on a plane so think of then when you make the purchase), going to the zoo, etc and also shopping.
For this LO, I plan on keeping all the strollers and getting the Joovy Caboose Ultralight.
We're not 'registered' for any because my mom & MIL are going halves on a Baby Jogger City Select for us (we plan on trying for #2 soon after #1 is settled in). SIL gave us a jogging stroller years ago when she didn't use it anymore. DH also picked up a double jogger a few years ago from someone.
