I found out yesterday that a wisdom tooth which has given me problems for years needs to come out. It's considered impacted I guess and I need to have oral surgery. I plan on being completely knocked out for it.
Does anyone have any experience with this and is this something that has to be done on a break cycle? I had surgery a week before I found out I was pg with my daughter and I know that probably isn't ideal. Can I just schedule it for the beginning of my cycle? I don't see the RE again until next week and being the planner that I am, I just keep thinking about when I'll get this done.

Re: Oral surgery, problem while TTC?
I don't know about being completely knocked out, but I had a tooth pulled while I was pregnant with DS. I really don't see why it would be a problem, especially at the beginning of the cycle. My OB wasn't concerned at all, but of course local anesthesia is a different animal.
GL! That doesn't sound like fun.
