MauiWeddding08: OMG, that is soooooo cute! That's such a great series of pics you got there of J's first experience with snow
lelekay: Yay on starting solids this week! H looks like he's loving it!! What an adorable pic of him!! It's funny, we just started solids this week too, and we actually got the same high chair as you! I saw it on display @ BRU and it was as tall as the Chicco Polly (which I think liubride said worked well with her pub-height dining table) *plus* I couldn't get over how much it matched our dining set, so we got it! How are you liking it? We love it so far and I even made a cover for the pad so that it matches our dining set even more =P
This is our high chair (same one as lelekay) with a cover I made for it so it now matches our dining set perfectly (except we have these protective covers on the cushion, so it looks shinier/darker), especially since the wooden part of the chair is a perfect match already
And here's B with his allergic reaction and/or flush (???) to eating solids. I timed it and it goes away in an hour but I still can't figure out what it is, so if anyone has an idea, lemme know!
Before eating (no redness, clear face):
After/while eating (look at those poor red eyes! and food everywhere!):
*sigh* Pulling each others' hair is the hilarious new thing to do, apparently. I swear they can play nicely together! Sometimes...
inamra - oh wow I see what you mean about the redness now! Did you try making the cereal with fresh BM? It almost looks like a strawberry birthmark...it doesn't come up at any time other than after food?
i love all the series of photos! i posted this on the thanksgiving thread already, but also meant to post here...
from thanksgiving day - completely
disconnected from all monitors, wearing his own clothes for the first
time - b/c eric was discharged, and we went home!

LOL, *love* the hair pulling pics! So cute! It's so cool to see them interact like that!! B doesn't really interact with other babies much yet. He just stares and observes and then plays with toys on his own. Mr. Anti-Social! I bet twins get such a head start on social skills cuz they're around each other all the time!
Yeah, I tried everything and different foods all-together with no bm even. It's definitely a solids thing. It's less red if I feed him less and basically it gets redder and redder as he eats, and if I stop before it gets too red, then it starts to fade gradually. This pic is actually a milder case of it because I didn't think of taking pics until this PIP and by then I try to stop once it gets pink. I ended up finding one post online about it, but that's all I could find. I guess he's drooling too much while eating??? Go figure...

LOL yeah, that's one advantage of having twins! Their major motor development skills (like rolling and crawling) are often a little delayed, but their social and language skills can be a bit advanced.
That's so weird about the red patches being due to saliva production...I guess as long as it's not causing pain, it's OK?
Re: UPDATED ??? (BR-)PIP of the Week ???
First snow:
hmmm, what is this?:
maybe I should taste it:
whoa, COLD:
