If you make pie ahead of time for T-day

Do you bake it a couple days ahead of time or what?  I have frozen pie crust and intend to do a pear crisp with some over-ripe pears we have.  I hope it works out and isn't all mushy...Would you think that if I made it tomorrow it would refrigerate and we could just warm it through the day of?

I always make my pies the day before and warm up the day of and they taste great.  Who has time to make a pie on Thanksgiving day??!

I make pecan pie the day before and leave it out overnight, but I wouldn't think you'd want to do that with pears.  I think refrigerating would be fine.

I made my pies (pumpkin and chocolate cream) sunday night. I have no time during the week to make them.

My Mom is doing them the day before (chocolate pie and apple pie).

I'm making my pumpkin pie tomorrow, as well as putting the turkey to brine, and making my apple dumplings, minus the sauce & cooking part.

I'm making pumpkin pie early, but making the apple pie on Thanksgiving day. Although I think the pear crisp will probably still taste great if you make it the day before, any type of fruit pie/crisp such as apples and pears really taste the best the day that they are made, but if it means you are saving time I think you'll still love it!
