I guess I was wrong on my follicle sizes

Are you sick of me posting yet?  Sorry!  =/

 Anyway I called the nurse to ask about my patches and I asked whether it was a concern that my 2 larger follicles were 20 and 17 and did that mean that I might O before the trigger.  And she said they aren't that big.  Apparently I misinterpreted the sizes:

20x16

17x15

15x14

12x11

They said I have to average them, not use the biggest number.  OOPS.

So I have an 18, 16, 14.5, and 11.5.  

She also said that from what she has seen, they have had some good success with the estrogen patches with thickening the lining.  I'll ask about estrace vag pills on Thurs if it's still an issue.  She said they like lining to be at 8mm but they've also done it at 6.5,  She was hopeful for me.

well, your 18 would be considered mature, and your 16 should be there by Thurs.

Are you going to update here on Thursday?    I need to know if I need to try to get on my mom's computer at some point in the day?    Or will you wait until Friday?

Stac of course I'll be updating on Thurs you dingdong!  Probably RIGHT after my appt at 815am. 

PS my RE's office considers between 20 to 25 mature, that's when they like to trigger.  Just send me good vibes that my freaking lining thickens up.  I don't want to have to cancel the dang cycle.

20-25 is pretty big. I'm surprised they trigger so late. I hope the patches work and your lining thickens up! I assume either way they will have you go ahead with the IUI rather than cancel your cycle.

Maybe they trigger so late since they do the first IUI 24 hours after trigger and not 36 hours?  I have no idea.  lol.

Not sure how you guys feel about siggy pics of kids (sorry in advance) but, I wanted to say that the third IUI I had, I had 17 and 19 mm follies, tirggered and had IUI 36 hours later and both took! 

They can grow 1-2 mm a day prior to them releasing so....I'm thinking at the time of my IUI they were maybe 19 and 21 mm.   GL to you!  : )

I hope your lining thickens up for your IUI.  Sounds like you'll have some nice follicles ready when you trigger!
