Second miscarriage :(

Hi ladies.  I joined you back in September when I was diagnosed with a missed m/c & prescribed Cytotec.  My OB told me to wait out 1 cycle before trying again.  We did & didn't expect to get pregnant again right away.  I got my second BFP last week but started bleeding Sunday.  I went to the doctor Monday & she said I was definately m/c again.  So I had to change my first u/s appointment to a m/c follow up!  I just want to crawl into a hole!

The doctor wants to run RPL bloodwork.  She said there's no reason to make me go thru this again first when there appears to be something wrong.  So, I'm getting my b/w results transfered from my RE, waiting to schedule the RPL panel & waiting out 2-cycles this time.  I guess we'll try again in February/March.

    I am so sorry to hear about this.  Hopefully they will figure out what is causing the miscarriages and fix it so that you can have a sticky baby.

    So sorry for your loss, and especially so close together in time! I've got two under my belt, but they are 3 years apart (3 years of troubles TTC). Anyway, I wish my doctor shared the same sentiment about doing the RPL work-up as your doctor.  But instead she is sticking to the rule of 3 for me. Makes me want to scream!

    Doesn't help that my OB is out, ironically on maternity leave, and I am only able to deal with her Physician Assistant...

    I'm so sorry that you're going through this again.

    Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    I'm so sorry for your losses.  I had my first m/c in June and my second in November.  It has sucked, a lot.  I hope you get some answers soon.

    I am so very sorry. I cannot imagine how hard it is to loose 2 pregnancies. (((hugs))). I am so glad to hear your Ob is going to start getting some testing done.

    I am really sorry about your second loss.  I know what that feels like. 

    I got the RPL bloodwork done after my second miscarriage.  My obgyn put me on baby aspirin.  And then when I got pregnant again, I asked my obgyn to put me on progesterone (prometrium).  Even though I had a red bleeding episode in my first trimester, I was still able to carry my son until almost 31 weeks.  I am really hoping that they are able to find out if there is anything that you can do that can help you to carry a pregnancy to term.

    I am so sorry for you losses.  That totally sucks to go through this twice within a few months.  Good luck with everything.

    I'm sorry for your losses.

    I just had my 2nd m/c in 2 1/2 months as well. I had my RPL panel done last week.

    so sorry you're going through this again.  I know how you feel I had my m/c in august and got a bfp in oct right after the first cycle and turned around had(and thought i had a second m/c but it ended up being) an ectopic pregnancy which they just "dissolved" last week.  Luckily my doctor did my blood work after the "second miscarriage" or it might have been too late to find the ectopic pregnancy.

    Same exact thing happened to me.  M/C in June, waited 1 month to try again and then got pg the very next cycle only to have another m/c.  I am so sorry for your losses.  It's so unfair.
