I hate, hate, hate napping but could not avoid it this pg. I napped when DS napped every day until like 17wks, then I felt like I had a little energy again and didn't need it. I feel like it's going to be a short window between beginning of pg exhaustion and big as a house exhaustion.
I had to start taking naps in my office right about 8 weeks. I was so extremely tired and felt weird sleeping on my office floor, but I needed those 10 minute cat naps.
My boys are 18 months and I still feel like this, LOL!
This. lol. Only my twins are only 4 months old.
Oh yes, me too.

That feeling only gets worse I'm afraid! Seriously, though in 1st tri I think I slept 18 hours a day or more if I wasn't at work. I was super sleepy .... wish I could sleep 18 hours now!

I just woke up from a nap myself. I am afraid that it doesn't go away. I think I have napped everyday since I found out I was pregnant. Thank goodness I am a stay at home mom. I don't know how you working MoMs do it.

I felt this way until around 13 weeks. I still could fall asleep at anytime if I had a chance to lay down, but at least my energy has gone up a little. I am still ready for bed by 8:00 pm though.

I felt completely wiped out until about 17/18 weeks...Right about the time I found out we were having TWINS - Dr. said that definately explained the exhaustion!
Good Luck - Im starting to get energy back currently at 20 weeks 2 days!
I was feeling a little more energized by week 13, but not the 'surge of energy in 2nd tri' like people say you will get. Now at 17 weeks, I still get tired and take naps after work or on the weekend a couple times a week, but not nearly as many as I was taking during 1st tri. I have also been trying really hard to get 8-9 hours of sleep a night and even more on the weekends, which seems to help as well.
i was like clockwork on the whole trimesters thing...i got a ton of energy from 13 wks until about 20 wks. This is when i registered, planned, and organized as much as i could, im glad i did too cause i barely want to get up to get food for myself now. Then it all went back down hill physically cause my body just expanded. We're youre tired, rest. When you feel well enough to do things, go for it...just listen to your body, hydrate, and follow doctors orders (for the most part)

Thanks for sharing your experiences! I guess naps will become something I will like to do! It just feels like how could this really affect me that much... Good to know i am not alone!

Subtract 2 weeks and this is us too.
Belle, Trixie and I often have the same boys. They were all born within a few weeks of each other

I basically hibernated my whole first trimester. It got "better" around 15/16 weeks, but I still slept SOOOO much my pregnancy.
Don't stress about it. Sleep and enjoy it!
It was an awesome time to be born!
