My girls will be 8 weeks old on thursday. They were due Nov. 8th, I don't know the adjusted age? They were born at 34.3 weeks.
My question is when can I expect them to smile while they are awake, not just smiling in their sleep. They have gotten soo much more alert adn I feel like they are on the verge of smiling.
What do you think?

Re: When can I expect smiling?
My 33 weeker started to really smile more and at me around 3 1/2 months. But each child is different.
I'd say give them some more time, as hard as that is and believe me, it will warm your heart (made me cry) when she did smile at me. Just wait until they giggle!
Katie Beth started smiling at 11 weeks, 4 weeks adjusted. They weren't just random smiles either, they were real ones. Now, 3 weeks later, it seems like she's going to burst into laughter just any minute. I love it!
BTW, if your twins are 8 weeks old and were born at 34 weeks, they are 2 weeks adjusted.
