Should I push 1st b-day party back 1 week?

I planned on having their first party on 12/11.  I'm hoping to get invites out today, but by the time people receive them, it'll be just a bit over 2w notice.  I don't want their first party to be a dud b/c of me, should I push it back 1 week to the 18th?  Do you think 2w is enough?  I'd like to do it on the 11th since their b-day's on the 10th.

The 18th will probably run into a lot of holiday parties with that being one week before Christmas.  I'd get them out today and go with the 11th.

Agreed. The 11th would seem more feasible with holiday stuff/parties. I think 2 weeks notice is plenty for a child's bday. It's not like it's a wedding, or an event where people have to find babysitters, etc.
