Preemies

Snow around the country?

So I am just wondering how the weather is around the country?

We just got snow yesterday in Seattle.  Our daycare closed today at 12:30pm.  And we are just waiting to see if daycare will be open tomorrow based on the Seattle Public Schools.  We are up on a hill, so we have chains on our car.

I am really counting my blessings though.  A couple of years ago, there was snow in December.  And we were part of Seattle that did not have electricity.  It was miserable- showers in the dark, five comforters on our bed, having to go out to restaurants that had power to get food.

I am just hoping that we do not lose power now that we have a preemie.

What are you doing to keep your baby warm?

I just bought baby a cute Carter's fleece outfit at BRU on Sunday.  So this was his first snowday outfit.

  • I'm in the deep south and it's been 80+ the last several days.  I can't ever imagine putting fleece on anyone in my house but, I love snow.  We need more of it around here!  I love the little outfit!

  • Super cute outfit! If you do lose power you can have your pedi send a letter to the electric company to have you put on a priority list. We were told this since our LO will eventually be coming home on an apnea monitor.

  • No snow in Maryland yet. Although I doubt we will get as much as we did last year. We got three blizzard in one season. It was crazy. I also heart carters fleece outfits and PJ's.

Oh thank God there's no snow in Maryland! I was over snow after the first blizzard. I'm so glad I wasn't teaching last year. I don't know how I would've handled those back to back blizzards! Did you hear they're calling for winter weather in the mountains for Thanksgiving?
