What color backdrop?

We were planning on taking our Christmas card photos at Thanksgiving...I'm taking my SIL's too. We wanted to take them outside, well it's going to be in like the teens....brrrrrr! So that's not going to happen. For our photo DD is wearing an ivory cableknit sweaterdress, I'm wearing a grey cableknit sweater and DH is wearing a black sweater. What color backdrop should I do? We're going to have to do them indoors...

Maybe a red or green if you want something bold - or a blue if you want to go a little less so.  A neutral background would work as long as DD is in front of you and DH so you can provide a background for her, otherwise she will blend too much.

the house we're renting doesn't have one.....wish we were in OUR house....and the one at DH's parents is buttass ugly......maybe we'll go to SIL's and use hers.
