meds and drinking

What was/is your take on it?

I had my CD4 u/s with the RE who is MY RE's partner and he said maybe avoid sushi and caffeine and to be on the safe side, alcohol too.   I had a beer the other night, one margarita the other day, and 2 or 3 glasses of wine yesterday.  No big deal, right?  Going to dinner tonight and would like to enjoy some wine without feeling guilty.  But part of me thinks just skip it just to be safe.

Thought I'd ask.

That's kind of how I feel too!  I guess I will just either have a single glass of wine or skip it and *try* to be a little more health conscious by having water.  Ugh.

Since this is my one and only shot, I want my eggs to be as healthy as possible, so I have not had a single drink since starting stims.

I don't know if alcohol and treatment meds play nice so I would skip it.

For the record, I stuck with water and diet coke, just in case.

Late in the game but I wanted to add that I drank till it was pink, but the cycle I had DD I only had one glass of wine on two occasions, both before O, because I was getting more and more willing to try anything. My RE said it was fine to drink a few, though.

I don't get the no-sushi thing, especially before O.
