I have posted sporadically at best and I don't really have any questions but I also don't have anyone to talk to about it IRL.
I am now in my 6th cycle after my laparoscopy so my doctor has been monitoring this cycle so that we know how to proceed. We know that I have endo and so far, we have learned that I also have low progesterone and my husband had an abnormal sperm count (VERY low) but our post-coital test was really good and I produced 2 mature follicles this month, which is great for a natural cycle.
I scheduled my follow up for this Friday, and my next cycle will be a treatment cycle, even though I don't know what the treatment will be yet. We still have to make an appt for my DH to see a Urologist, but I almost think he should be re-tested since our post-coital was just fine. I am also secretly wishing that this cycle will just be it, but I know thats not very likely.
I am very new to all this, and the amount of time involved is honestly astonishing. Obviously, my journey so far is short compared to a lot of women, but it is exhausting. It seems to take over your entire life.
Re: Follow-up after monitoring cycle.
Its totally life consuming- I agree. I feel like I'm always looking for childcare and on the phone with insurance fixing billing mixups :-)
Good luck to you- I hope this month surprises you!
There is a lot of information to absorb, but take a deep breath and just let it process. Lots of luck to you!
