Rec your baby gate

We have been letting Preston have the run of the great room since he has started crawling but the room is in the center of the house and has 5 entrances...he has gotten to the point where he is roaming into other rooms so we are looking at getting a baby gate...I'm looking at something like this

My mom has this play yard. She stretches it out along her banister for the stairs down to the basement and across part of the Living room. I had planned on getting one annd brak off pieces to spread about to block off areas and it will be good to block her in for play outside.
