mom groups

so i have a 6 week old lil boy and am looking for mom groups. Me and my SO are the only ones with a kid in both our families and group of friends so its getting pretty lonely.Anyone know of any in the new orleans/metairie/ kenner area?

Actually, there is a mommy and me group in Kenner.  Vineyard church has a whole group of mommies and there little ones that attend for outings and many other fun things.  You can check them out online at vcfk.com.  Good luck.:)
