TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

Oh, and--

My husband has more than 43 pairs of socks. F.O.R.T.Y.-T.H.R.E.E.

He was down to his last couple pairs in the drawer. I was doing massive laundry today, so I washed them all. I made him pair them up though -no way was I doing that. So he counted how many there were. What the fvck??

That means he went 6 weeks without washing socks.

Re: Oh, and--

  • I hate socks. Matching them is the worst chore ever. I currently have about 40 pairs of scoks stuffed into a pillowcase, just so they don't get strewn about. They are all clean, I am just too lazy to match them.

Panties are different. You have different ones for different times, moods, etc. Socks are farking socks and a biitch to pair up. Plus, if the washer eats a pair of panties you won't drive yourself nuts hunting for the mate.

  • Wow! I'm not allowing DH to read this post. He'll use it as evidence for why I shouldn't make him help with laundry!

  • I think I should make my DH go through his. We have a small basket that we put all of the socks in and lately we've just been searching through that basket for matches. Embarrassed

  • That seems like a crazy amount of socks. Where does he put them all? I mean, when they're clean.

I'd take a whole pile of them and make puppets. Just because. I bet he won't miss them. Stick out tongue

  • My dh probably has about 25-30 pairs of socks. We were watching some show where the husband actually numbers his socks like L1, R1 so he knows which pair goes together and which goes on what food. I thought it was crazy, but dh thought it was a good idea. I told him he can only do that if he puts his socks away and matches them all, of course he said no to that.
