New to Huntsville

So ...i'm new to Huntsville and just found out i'm pregnant again. I was referred to Dr. Kakani from Tennessee Vally OB GYN. I have my first appiontment with her Monday and was wondering if they did an Ultrasound the first time to prove I was pregnant and what not. I'm asking this because I went to St.Vincents for my last and this was done there. Thank you for anyone that can help me with this!

I go to to Dr. Kakani, and she is awesome.  She is the OB that a lot of other doctors use.  She doesn't have the best bedside manner, but she is apparently one of the best OBs in north Alabama.  They do an ultrasound on the first visit and one at 20 weeks.  They will do others if needed, and you can pay for a 4D at 28 weeks.  Its $125.  HTH

I'm a patient of Dr Raiford who is in the same practice and I was given an ultrasound at my 6 week appointment(my first one). The practice is FANTASTIC. I hope you like Dr Kakani. I've heard nothing but great things about her.
