anyone shop yet?

This whole twin thing is making me nervous about what we need for essentials.  We don't have family around to help out, so want to start doing things piece-meal.  Anyone start any purchasing?  registering? 

Would love to hear...what you have found and where!

I started a registry, but right now I am using it to keep track of styles and features I like, and recommendations people have made. It will likely change before I actually use the registry.

just one baby here. I still don't feel comfortable shopping. I think once our NT scan is good and over at 12w 3d I'll feel a little better.

I don't want to buy things for awhile, but I actually just made my first purchase today because I had a coupon.... a boppy!  Other than that, I've been looking at stuff just a little.  We'll probably wait at least until after we find out the gender.  If I were having twins, it would probably be different!

I haven't  bought anything yet, but DH and I just spent an hour walking around Babies 'R Us picking out things we liked....the big stuff like furniture, crib bedding and stroller/infant car seat system.  So fun

We aren't starting to shop yet, but we have started saving. I'd definitely be putting money aside if you haven't started to already.

I have went window shopping at Babies-r-Us, but only bought a rattle so far. We have started putting aside a little money here and there.

We already have a ton and it is our first baby. We bought a three level town home and frequently entertain, so I wanted to buy a pack 'n play since we will be the last of our friends to have a baby. I ended up finding someone on craigslist who had twins and we selling two $40 for one or $60 for both. They are in like new condition so we bought both and have actually used them alot. My momknew we were going to be trying and picked up a few smaller things at garage sales over the summer. 

My SIL works for a company that review products so we ended some little stuff from her. Baby Einstein books, bath toys, etc.

 The only purchase we have made is the travel system. I have severe endo, so I have a higher risk of having a pre-term baby. Our best friends had a premie and the day she was being released they had to purchase a car seat that was rated down to four pounds (Britax or Chicco) because she was too small to fit in the Graco they had already purchased. I was able to find the Britax travel system on clearance at www.Diapers.com. We went ahead and purchased it because they have a 365 day return policy as well as free shipping on purchases over $50 including return shipping.

I feel crazy but I've already bought the baby bedding. It was on clearance at Pottery Barn Kids and I really love it. We're going team green, so I really wanted gender neutral. I haven't bought anything yet but I've started saving ideas from browsing online. I have a crib and dresser link saved from Target's website and then I have several different bedding sets saved ....a few for a boy and a few for a girl. We'll make a final choice once we find out the sex! Only 7 more weeks to go until we have our anatomy scan!!!

We have a car seat that a friend gave us.  Other than that we dont have anything yet, but we have deffinatly been looking at styles and such.
