Is this packaging recyclable?

Is the plastic used for things like tubes of toothpaste recyclable?  I've never thought much about it but I recently bought new shampoo & conditioner that uses the same type of plastic and it made me wonder.  I don't see the recyclable icon anywhere...

If it's the aquafresh plastic shoot tube that should be plain plastic. Most other tubes are bonded to aluminum I think and aren't recyclable because they can't be broken down into their two forms.

Mine isn't. There's some sort of interior liner. Plus, where I live they won't take recycling if it isn't clean (aka no toothpaste anywhere on it).

ETA: My shampoo and conditioner bottles are recyclable. I just have to clean them out really well. They have a recycling symbol on them.

My old shampoo / conditioner bottles were recyclable too, but they were the hard plastic.  The new ones are that "soft" flexible plastic (like toothpaste tubes) and I don't think they are
