8 sometimes you just need your mama
Re: things I've learned from my newborn
patience is a virtue.
It's not the end of the world as long as everyone is alive.
1. Sleeping upright is possible...even preferred.
2. Sometimes we all just want to be held.
3. Buckles of any kind, on any device are seen as baby torture devices!
- Don't ever take anything for granted
- Something as simple as a smile can make everything better
- Love can motivate you to do things you never believed possible
- I need to thank my mom for all the things she did for me when I was too young to remember
All of these are awesome so far! The over-dramatic and buckle ones are hilarious and I would have added those if you guys didn't.
Here's a few of mine:
1. Sometimes a good snuggle and soft nuzzles is just what mommy needs too!
2. There is nothing funnier than a naked baby getting changed who sneezes and farts (and sometimes poops) at the same time.
I learned that sometimes it takes one or two "practice" sneezes before the real one can happen.
Does anyone elses little one do this?
- Don't put a clean diaper under a butt that might not be finished! Wait until the last possible moment to do the switcheroo.
- Happiness is a warm, contented baby.
- Even when I'm exhausted and frustrated at 3 am, a little nuzzle makes it all worthwhile.

having your diaper changed is the absolute worse thing that could ever happen to anyone.
Sleep is so much better when you have someone to cuddle with
Things are never as bad as they seem. With babies, everything is a phase. When they say "this too shall pass"..they mean it.
2 beautiful children
proud mommy!
I always want to catch the practice sneezes on video too, but they just happen with no warning!
Sleep is a luxury, not a necessity.
-Sometimes or most of the time, it is okay to eat double what is recommended for your weight and still demand more.
-If dinner doesn't get there fast enough scream as loud as you can.
-Life is better after you have farted.
-No one loves you more or thinks you are more perfect than your mom.
-Many times life's smallest accomplishments are your biggest.
This cracked me up! So true!
