but we are going to call him by his Middle name. David is the DH first name and we want to use it again.

I had Easton on my list and H hates it. Every time I bring it up he says, "We can have a Weston and then a Southern if it's a girl."

We are keeping the first name David because of DHs dad and him are both davids but when we get together there are just so many davids and we know about 5 other davids. it can get confusing so we want to keep David as the first name but to keep the confusion out of family get togethers we want to call him by his middle name.

I think it's a solid name. Despite the popular of Easton, I still think sporting goods company, but otherwise not too bad.

Weston at least isn't a new one--DH and I know one(I think he's in his 30s or early 40s) who goes by Wes.

I like both names, but calling him by the middle name when his first name is actually David would be confusing to the child

i like david.

i don't prefer easton, but it's the middle name, so it probably won't be used that much
