NBR: Laptops

Anyone want to recommend their laptop?  I would love to get a macbook but no can do as I don't want to spend that much money on one.  So who has a laptop they love?

I have a HP Pavilion and love it!  I have actually it for about 3 years and am still very pleased with it.  DH got it for me at Christmas while I was in grad school and was able to get a really good deal from the HP website so you may want to keep an eye out this time of year.

I had an HP Pavilion for 4 years and loved it (my niece still uses it!)  DH had a Gateway and never had any problems with it, either.  We recently purchased a Mac, and love it!

I have an HP something that I love. I wish I could tell you the model name but I have no idea what it is.  I guess it could possible be a Pavillion.  I love my screen size, it's 15.6 or something and the keyboard is a great size.  It also has a number pad which a lot of laptops dont. I have Windows 7 on it whch I also love.

I got it last year a week before Black Friday on luck. I was planning to go out that day to buy a similar HP for $298. A friend of mine lucked up and saw two of these in Walmart a week earlier. The employee told her that two other employees had been hiding them from a previous sale. The manager found out an made her put them out just a couple hours before my friend found them.  She bought one and stood guard on the other till I arrived.

All that to say check the sales for Black Friday ad, and look online for cyber Monday deals.  I hear Sam's Club has good laptop deals this time of year.
