We are going to my IL's, which is pretty much what we do every year. We usually go there for the day, then sneak off to my parents house that night to "really" eat. IL's are not great cooks (stuffing is Stove Top even though I've offered numerous times to make it), and my Mom throws down! But this year, with the girls in tow, we won't make it to my parent's house. Sad, because I love Thanksgiving food and usually barely eat at my IL's so I can save up for my parent's!
Last year, we announced my pregnancy at Thanksgiving. At the time, I thought it was one baby. VERY strange to be approaching the holiday one year later and bringing two extra guests!
Re: What's Everyone Doing for Thanksgiving?
We have to go to my vegetarin SIL's every year. Either MIL or myself will "bring" the turkey and everything else. She'll set the table and make sweet potatoes.
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!
STOP!!! LOL I thought I had it bad!!
I wish I was kidding. The really sad thing is that I LOVE Thanksgiving and all of its glory (namely food).
Well, now I have to bring my own food to Thanksgiving, at least I bring what I like. MIL brings what she likes and her inlaws bring what they like. It's like 3 separate dinners going on at once.

We are doing Thanksgiving at my house with the ILs, well half, the other half doesn't do holidays. I am only responsible for making rolls and mashed potatos.
We will not be going to my family's because they decided they wanted and easy holiday and will be doing pizza. I am not going to drive three hours for some pizza. I am all about traditional holidays and want my babies first Thanksgiving to be very classic. I know they won't remember, but I will.
I bought Stove top....
but i'd love a recipe for good stuffing...
Every year my sister cooks the turkey and stuffing and I seriously bring everything else....including homemade apple and pumpkin pies. This yr. her and her fam were invited to another family's house. Thanksgiving is just days away, and she(my sis) still hasn't told me if she is going over there...or if we were having our traditional family meal. So....moving on!~
Off to BBB i went...bought myself a roasting pan...and have turkey and everything in the freezer. I will be making my 1st Thanksgiving...with 4 month old twins and MIL as my guest.
There's a good stuffing recipe on the back of the Bell's seasoning box
