I want to do something more natural looking this Christmas with the wrapping paper and colors. Where can I buy a big roll of that brown wrapping/packing paper?
I got a roll of it at Staples. It was in the teacher's supplies section. They also have rolls of Kraft paper at Target in the wrapping paper area, and it has very light stripes on it.
I get a roll at Wal-mart in the packing/shipping area. Dollar tree also has them sometimes. I actually am not 100% they're recycled, but it's brown kraft paper.
I do that theme every few years or so myself and if I do say so myself, they look fab! I use different styles of red ribbon/string/yarn. I love how they look sort of vintage-y.

Exactly the look I'm going for. And, well, I gots to save some moola.

I picked mine up at walmart also. It's heavy and packing tape works better than the scotch tape.
Call Cantler's and ask them where they get their rolls of crab paper for the tables. We have a HUGE one that some group left at the Marriott when D worked there. I may never need to buy brown paper again.

They sell them at my local community newspaper place and at some of our local magazine companies for $8! We spread it out in the kitchen on rainy days and trace each other! super fun!
Re: Where can I buy a huge roll of recycled brown paper?
Me with my littlest.
Michaels might - some places do, some don't. I'd call ahead & ask just so you're not running all over the place.
And it's not amazing. I just grew up with a hippie mom on a budget. ;-)
