Why don't we form our own!? I think we are also looking for thing to do on the weekends with other moms. My DH works weekends so it's just DD & I and I get a little lonely and bored wondering what to do...especially as it gets colder out. Summer offers so much for us to get out and do. I am looking forward to going to see some of the lights displays with DD, but after the Holidays I am at a loss.
I'm a working mom too, I'd be interested in doing something on weekends.
I recently got my local ECFE catalog and they have evening storytime at our local library. It is free and you don't need to preregister. It doesn't start until January. I'm going to the Cottage Grove one.
Library Storytime and Activity Hour
The Washington County Libraries and ECFE invite you to
come for a FREE storytime followed by parent and child
activities. No preregistration is necessary.

Not sure which part of town you are in but ECFE in Moundsview has a Thursday night Baby & Me class and I've been going with DS since September. It's a mixed group of Mommies with some that work and some that stay home. It's a bit hectic to get there after work, but B always has a good time and I enjoy hearing from the other Mommies. There is also a Saturday morning class as well. Other than that I haven't been able to find anything on the evenings or weekends either - but would definitley be interested in joining a group as well.

I strongly suggest finding an ECFE location in your area. When ds was little we were always able to find evening classes.
