Parenting after a Loss

Ergo ? does this look correct?

DS is 4 months so I tried him in the Ergo with no insert no blanket
He did not complain but there were red marks on his legs when I took him out. He does not like with his legs in

Does this look correct? What can I adjust so his lil legs will not get marks? Is he too low/high

  • X looked like that and i had to put a rolled up blanket at the bottom for him to sit on

  • It looks good to me.  You can still use a rolled up blanket if you prefer it, but I think it's fine without.  As for the red marks, someone on the AP board said that the red marks are really common because babies skin is so soft and "impressionable" so it's easier for them to end up with red marks or lines from where their legs were in the carrier.  I wouldn't worry about it unless it seems to bother him.  Even adult skin would get a mark on it if pressed up on something for a while, ya know.

Did he like the Ergo? You had posted before that he gets fussy after a while when you're wearing him.  Just wondering if he likes having his legs out better.

  • I just saw you asked if he was too low or high, the best way to tell if LO is at the best height is to see if you can kiss the top of their head.  If you can do that, then you're set :).  It looks like he's perfect where he is.
  • Damn! I've been doing it wrong.

  • He lasts longer in the ergo than he has in the Moby
Still not giving up & I am hoping that if we get cooler weather he will get more tolerant
    How were you doing it?

I just woke up Xavier b/c I was laughing so hard, omg, You HAVE to take a picture of him like that so I can see if it's as funny IRL as it is in my head.

The ergo takes a bit of getting used to.

  • Owen hated facing me so I have yet to try facing forward. Logan's legs are too cute for red marks! Smile
