Discovery Ultrasound?

I was wondering if anyone has used Discovery Ultrasound and if they had a good/bad experience. If not, does anyone have suggestions on other elective ultrasound places around the Jacksonville area? I live in S. Georgia and Jacksonville is a much easier drive than Atlanta. Thanks!

I had a 3D/4D at A Stork's View in Mandarin. 

I recently recommended it to a friend and they told her she was having a boy.  About a week or two later, she found out she was actually having a girl  

Perhaps that will help you decide if you want to use them

I went to Discovery Ultrasound and the woman there was very kind. She was able to tell the sex at 16 weeks and got it right, so I was happy about that.

I have an appt to go to Sneak Peek Studios for my 4D sonogram.  This was recommended to me by my OB.  The lady that does the 4D U/S is the same lady that does the genetic screening at my doc office.  I saw her when I was 13 weeks for a genetic screening and she said if she had to guess she was 80% sure I was having a girl.  Well when I was 21 weeks and had my U/S to determine the gender turns out she was right.  I am having a girl.  She is really nice and the prices are good for what you get.

I went to Discovery for the sex determine ultrasound around 17 weeks and then again for the 3d ultrasound around 30 weeks. The tech, Alison, is awesome! She is so nice and really takes her time and talks with you and shows/explains to you what you're looking at on the screen. The baby was turned and was hard to be 100% sure on her sex, so Alison had us come back a week later free of charge to check again. I highly recommend this place!

I went to Discovery Ultrasound and had a great experience.  She was very nice.  I priced it around and found the price to be reasonable. 

 Just a note:  A friend went to A Stork's View and had a horrible experience.  They did not ask for proof of a previous ultrasound, as they did at Discovery.  My friend did not have a previous ultrasound, except for the initial one at 8 weeks.  She was 18 weeks along and the tech discovered a major problem.  It was a friday and all they would say is that she needed to call her OB.  She had to wait all weekend only to find out the baby was deformed and was about to die.  I found this to be completely unethical.   If they had asked for proof of a previous ultrasound, this would not have happened.

I totally understand what you're saying and so so sorry to hear about your friend but when i went to discovery she was clear up front she could not give me any info whatsoever on the babies health (so did the other place I called).  They can get sued since they are not doctors.  She didnt get anything from me proving I had previous ultrasounds

I went at sixteen weeks and found out I was having a girl.  The tech was awesome and said she has never been wrong.  I have referred several friend and co workers there and they have been happy too
