How my life has changed in a week...

A week ago my life was flipped upside down.  The girls are 5 days old today and are doing amazing. We have had one rough morning but the neonatologist (sp?) was amazed this evening how things have turned around. Ella has begun taking breast milk (2 feedings today!!!) threw her tubes and Sophia is going to try feedings tomorrow.  The girls are on room air already and might get their respirator tubes out by friday which means I might be able to hold my babies for the first time this weekend. I just cant explain the emotions I am going through. I am so overwhelmed from the out pouring from family and friends, I am so in love with my wonderful husband, and just in awe of my precious girls. Pumping is going good, my scar is healing well. I just really needed a positive day like today to reassure me! Thanks for letting me brag on our good day today!

that is so wonderful!  I  have tears in my eyes just reading your post - love seeing people focus on the good they have in their lives when going through a rough time. More prayers that they grow big and strong and are home with you soon!  But first- prayers that you are able to hold them REALLY soon!
