What's up with the in-laws not doing Thanksgiving?  Just curious.

A lot of it I can't get into because well it's just complicated...but my inlaws aren't extremely family oriented...my father in law usually chooses to work on that day, and my mother in law just goes with it.  When Wes' grandparents (his dads parents) were still alive Wes and his little brother and his mom would go up there, but they've been gone for several years now.  My mother in law has a very large family herself but they don't get together hardly at all...I know very little of Wes' extended family.

Ah, okay. I understand. My initial thought was that there was some kind of wierd opposition to it but I see that I was way off.  Thanks for being willing to share what you did.

Lol no, no weird opposition   Although I admit I thought the whole not family oriented thing was weird when I first came around...I just accept it for what it is now, and am glad that my family is family oriented.  It makes me appreciate it more I think.
