follow up to bad u/s -- question

I have my RE's email address. Would you email her now and complain or wait until the next appointment? DH is livid and wants me to email...I'm not sure.

  • i'd do it now while the details are fresh in my mind.  also, she will probably take you more seriously if you do it right away.  that way she'll know it upset you enough to tell her right away.

  • i would call today - even if you just leave a message that you want to talk to your doctor in charge when he/she returns - they need to knwo ou are furiuos.

i just read your OP and that is just PISSPOOR for a medical professional.

the doc needs to know this - and might considering sharing calls with another doc if he/she gets enough complaints.  that is horrible!!!

  • OK, I am writing an email now.

DH said, "next time you can tell her two of her kids were in a car wreck and one is ok and then just sit there." lol.

Ditto. She needs to know so that she knows who she has seeing her patients while she is away.  So NOT okay what happened to you.  I am so sorry you had to deal with that!

  • I'm glad you are writing the email.  I am so angry for you!

  • I agree that I would do it now while you still remember everything.  It's important that they know how upset you were - especially at an RE's office, you think the u/s techs would know how nervous women are at those early ultrasounds.  Even if she was just having "a bad day", that's no excuse.

  • i just had to add (because i'm so annoyed for you) that certainly ID twins are common with an RE --- generally with IVF with ICSI.... they are NOT common with IUIs... so she still fvcked up with that, too.  What a b1tch.
