Question about Preseed!! Did it work for you??

Hi!My name is Joan (28 yrs) and I'm on ttc cycle 8. We just started using Preseed, because I suspected that I needed some help in that department. I was wondering how many of you used Preseed and if it helped you in anyway. I could really use some postive responses, because I'm starting to get a little worried. Thank you!!

It worked for me with my first pregnancy.  I used it just once and got pg that cycle.  It doesn't work like that for everyone but it's worth a shot.

It worked for us the first time we tried it with DD.  We had been trying for 7 months and the month we used preseed I got pregnant.

Preseed is not a magic "get pregnant" lube.  It is not a replacement for CM, it doesn't increase your odds every month.  They are still 20%.  All it is is a sperm friendly lube.

We were trying for 5 cycles, the month we used it we got pregnant.

It is funny, for 6 months I took prenatal vitamins and we used pre-seed religiously. However, when I ran out of both this last month we didn't use pre-seed and I didn't take any vitamins. Of course it just happened to be the one month I got KU....

So for us, I can't say that pre-seed necessarily worked for us, but I have heard from others that it helped so I recommend trying it out, what could it hurt? Good luck!

Anecdotally, it did work for us both times the first time we tried it. It was 10cycles the first time, 7 cycles the second. 

 

I make a lot of EWCM on my own so I didn't really bother with it the second time around, and then decided in month 7 to give it a try. It worked...but that doesn't mean I wouldn't have gotten pregnant otherwise.

I used it around O time for about 4 months before I got pregnant, so it is definitely not the "magic trick" for getting pregnant.  You might also want to look into Fertile CM supplements to increase your EWCM.  They worked really well for me.

I don't know if that is what "worked" for us, but we did use it for the first time last month and I did get a BFP.  We used it internally.

I got pregnant the first cycle using Preseed, but I'm pretty sure it was just coincidence.  It's really just supposed to be a sperm-friendly lube and isn't meant to help you get pregnant.

My sister-in-law swears by it. The first time I used it I got a UTI, so I'm not really a fan.

I don't know if that is what worked but we did use it. I got pregnant on the first try so Im not sure...we used it externally. And, a LITTLE goes a long way!

I used it the month I got my BFP, but I didn't use it with DD and got pregnant after 1 full cycle, so I'm not sure it made a difference second time or not.

I did, however, recommend it to a friend who was TTC for almost 2 years and using regular lube. She got her BFP the day before her 2 year anniversary of TTC (which was also the first cycle of using pre-seed).

I was ttc for 5 months (didn't use anything) so I started to use pre seed and took mucinex... got my bfp 2 weeks later!

We tried it like 2 or 3 days leading up to ovulation and it worked! It's hard to say that it was because of the pre-seed, but after trying for 3 months of BFNs, I thought I'd give it a try. I don't think it would hurt to give it a try. good luck!

I used it when I got pg the first time.  Didn't use it when I got pg the second time.  Can't hurt to try it!

My husband and I used preseed once... I am now 4 weeks pregnant!!! I don't know if it was that or just pure luck... but it was the first try.

We ordered some but got our bfp while it was still in the mail. While I was waiting for it to arrive I used canola oil because I heard it wasnt harmful to sperm either, must have done the trick.

Did you have any UTI or yeast issues after?  I was afraid to try that for those reasons.
