DS is 14months and I have always had him wear pedipeds soft sole shoes.Well he is outgrowing his, and I was wondering if I should get hard sole "regular" shoes? He has been walking since he was 10months-so for a while. WDYT? I have no idea
I'd stick to the softer soles as long as possible, then move to the flexible ones....you should be able to easily bend the sole in one hand. I think SKR are good, as are the PPs Grip 'n Go line (and obviously the ones I posted above).
Re: shoe question
What size is he? (most soft soles stop around a 5)
For DD, she has some that are this style - "Early walkers" from Stride Rite

But she's only in a 4-4.5, and these stop at a 5. I love them, even better than the Pedipeds.
Eli's foot is too big for those soft soles (he's a 5.5-6) so he has some like this.... https://www.striderite.com/store/SiteController/striderite/productdetails?stockNumber=BB32259&showDefaultOption=true&skuId=***8********BB32259XW050&productId=8-115561&catId=cat1530400SR
