CPR certified babysitter?

do you insist that a sitter have infant/child CPR cert to watch your children?

    We live 1/2 a mile from the local fire station and our 16 year old sitter can dial 911.

    I don't even know how I'd go about finding one around here. We're pretty rural.

  • No. If I did I'd never have a babysitter.  I figure the chances are remote, we live close to a hospital, and a competent sitter can dial 911.  Honestly, if I insisted on that I would never leave the house!
  • We do but it just happens to be by chance. Our sitters work in the nursery at our chuch and the church requires that nursery workers be CPR certified, so it just happens that ours are.
  • No. DH and I are not CPR certified either.
